Since Thatcher the UK has been in the throes of the biggest transfer of wealth scam in its history - reversing the egalitarian redistributions of the post-war era. Wealth is being taken from the masses to whom it was redistributed and being concentrated once again in the hands of the extremely wealthy - now the big banks and landowners - and the working class are being returned to their former existences of semi-indentured tenants.
Of course it is a deliberate policy. Anyone with an ounce of feeling for the historical dialectic and geopolitics can see this.
